1 Ingredients

  • 100 g achiote paste (or ground annatto seeds)
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Yucatecan oregano
  • 12 whole black peppercorns
  • 2 whole allspice berries (pimienta gorda)
  • 3 large garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 dried chiles serranos yucatecos (or chile de arbol as substitute)
  • 1/2 cup sour orange juice (or substitute)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
