- 2 dried morita chiles, seeds optional
- 1 dried ancho chile, seeds optional
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 cup peanuts, toasted
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
- 1/4 cup almonds, toasted (optional)
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, toasted (optional)
- ~1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- ~1 tsp salt, to taste

In a skillet over medium heat, toast the diced onion until golden brown.

Add the minced garlic and the dried chiles to the skillet, along with the seeds if you want it spicy.

Remove from heat once everything is nicely browned.

Incorporate the toasted peanuts and sesame seeds, and toast for an additional 2 minutes.

Transfer everything to a blender and blend with the extra virgin olive oil until smooth.
